My hubby and I have only been here 2x now.....
1st time, 6 yrs ago.. it was just okay. Nothing memorable.  B
However, we came the 2nd time with good friends.  I think this time was made better just by having someone who thoroughly enjoys Nando's and helped us with the menu.
First of all, we were seated promptly,  the waiter came over and asked for drink orders.  Since the house margaritas were 2 for 1, and out friends stated they are the beat, we had 1.  Man they are good!!
Now, for food...... the Nandos nachos came highly recommended.. that's what we ordered.
The nachos did not disappoint!! Excellent!!!
Meat, cheese and a variety of other stuff loaded in and in between and on top of chips..
One order and hubby and I shared.  Still could not finish them!!!!!
    Next time, fajitas!!!!

    Such bad customer service,
Server was great but management was rude and she did not care to lose businesses, to start, the first think she told us was that we have to be out of her restaurant by certain hr. We did not have a reservation and it was 50 of us, but she did not care for us to take business somewhere else, such bad attitude from her part.
She only assigned one server for all 50 of us.

Nandos was good food.  But I just wasn't  wow'd by it.  Due to different schedules we reserved a table for 7.  3 of us were on time as the others straggled in.

My husband called and said that we were celebrating my birthday there.

It was nice, but I kinda expected a little more.

    I was disappointed.

I went back and forth on this rating but the guacamole and pico both having a brown hue to them sent it down to 2 stars. That dry heat margarita though....now that was good. Both of them!  ;-)
Our party of six was accommodated easily on a Sunday night but the restaurant was busy. Chips and salsa (minimal to no heat at all on the "hot" version) were served promptly.
I ordered guacamole and it was served with fried flour tortillas. It had a slight brown hue to it with brown chunks and was slightly runny, and I found a piece of avocado skin in it. I question if it was even made that day.
Not being able to decide on which taco, I ordered two plus rice. The rice was good, but the carnitas taco was really disappointing - no cilantro or onion, just pork (quite a bit of fat as well) in a half crispy/half soggy corn tortilla. The ground beef tacos were served up better - the shell was crispy and there was plenty of fresh lettuce and cheese served with it. The pico had more brown avocado, and even some brownish onion and tomato pieces that again left me wondering just when all of this food was prepped. Portions are huge, so downsize if you are not sure how hungry you are! My husband thought his mesquite tacos were good, and my daughter enjoyed her bean burro.  All in all, I'd go elsewhere as it appears there were plenty of choices in the area.

I've eaten here, well a lot and can't believe I have never left a review. I'm about flavor when it comes to my food and let me tell you they do not disappoint. I've had a few things on the menu but the carne asada chimi is hands down my absolute favor meal (you can get it naked if you're not about all the toppings)! The queso appetizer is amazing with anything and the chips that come with, ugh the best. My kids have eaten everything on the kids menu, no complaints and love it. The staff each time I have gone has been great, especially the "floating" staff that will help with water, chips and even removing plates. Even the set up of the restaurant I like, I'm a booth person, so you're most likely going to get one there. Absolutely recommend going here!
